High-Risk Service Sectors
At Eagle Eye Consulting & Training, a proud Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, we don’t just train, we transform. Founded by an Army combat veteran and organizational strategist, we understand high-risk environments because we’ve led in them, navigating trauma, crisis, and change. High-risk sectors like healthcare, emergency services, first responders, corrections and the military are facing a critical inflection point. Burnout, moral injury, and suicide are no longer outliers; they are systemic signals of deeper organizational strain. These challenges demand more than check-the-box solutions. Our trauma-informed consulting and training draw on organizational development, systems change, and human resilience to address root causes, build cultures of care, and empower people at every level. Through tailored strategies, we help organizations create psychological safety, resilience, and belonging. When those who serve are supported, they don’t just stay, they thrive.
Program Development/Support
-
We help organizations develop new or enhance existing procedures and programs for recruiting, hiring, and retaining service members, veterans, and their families. From creating a solid business plan with key stakeholders to fostering a welcoming and supportive organizational culture for veterans, we assist organizations at any stage of the process. Additionally, we can help design or improve individualized support programs within organizations and higher education institutions to better support service members and veterans and their families.

Workshops & Trainings

Since 2009, our founder has been delivering QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training to a wide range of organizations, including government agencies, higher education institutions, service providers, and community members. This specialized two-hour training is designed for professionals in high-risk sectors such as healthcare, emergency services, and corrections.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of suicide within these challenging fields, explore the unique stressors faced by staff and colleagues, learn to recognize the warning signs of suicide, and practice how to ask the crucial “suicide” question. The training equips participants with strategies to offer hope, effectively persuade individuals to seek help, and navigate the referral process for those in need, empowering them to save lives within their communities.
This training is an ideal complement to our S.H.I.E.L.D. safety planning and moral injury awareness and healing program and can be delivered on the same day for a comprehensive approach to mental health and suicide prevention in high-risk service sectors.

Eagle Eye Consulting & Training is proud to partner with Dr. Beverly Prestwood-Taylor to offer a workshop on moral injury. Moral injury refers to the emotional and spiritual wounds that occur when individuals, such as combat veterans, are placed in situations where they either violate their own moral code or witness others doing so under difficult circumstances. This experience is not limited to veterans; professionals such as healthcare workers, firefighters, police officers, corrections, and other high-risk service professionals may also experience moral injury. In this workshop, we will explore how moral injury occurs and discuss various pathways for healing and recovery.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. model provides a structured, culturally competent approach for initiating firearms and other lethal means safety conversations and creating short-term safety plans. Designed for peers, supervisors, and frontline professionals, S.H.I.E.L.D. helps reduce the risk of suicide by promoting voluntary collaboration and respectful dialogue around access to firearms and other lethal means during periods of elevated risk.escription

Designed for military and veterans, first responders, corrections, and healthcare professionals, this training equips participants with practical tools to recognize and respond to suicide risk, engage in culturally competent safety planning, and address the hidden wounds of moral injury.
